As a Latino corporate entrepreneur, community representative and business owner, I am familiar with the opportunities and the impact nonprofits organization create for the community. I am proud to be an executive board member for Affluent Hispanic Philanthropies, as it provides me the opportunity to help create dreams become a reality and promote awareness for important issues creating solutions.

As a restaurant owner, it is important to give back to the community that sustains us as a business. At Tortas Ahogadas Chago, we practice that principle by providing support and our resources to impactful philanthropic initiatives such as those we have had the opportunity to carry out with Affluent Hispanic Philanthropies. We always take pride in serving and being true to the mission of being a fiscally responsible company.

To me it is important to support philanthropy to impact the world with positive changes promoting values, equality and improvement in peoples life. Affluent Hispanic Philanthropies is an integrated platform that allows me to reach that mission by its social programs and inspiring projects in the community.

This simple quote embodies the core philosophy of Global Gift Foundation USA (GGF USA). A simple act of generosity can brighten the future of others in need.   We are a firm believer that philanthropy plays a critical role in the ecosystem of social change. GGF USA together with our partners works tirelessly to create equality. Why? Simply put, inequality in all forms negatively affects us all.   United we can create #BetterTomorrows for our communities' most vulnerable. Philanthropy inspires unity. Now more than ever, we are more powerful together than apart.

As a serial entrepreneur building businesses over the last 15 years, I’ve seen first hand how connecting marketing programs with worthy causes can build winning scenarios for all parties, and most importantly for the communities they serve. I’m honored to be part of the founding board for Affluent Hispanic Philanthropies focusing primarily on programs that connect brands with content creators, but also that focus on supporting youth communities nationwide. Excited for new initiatives in 2021 and beyond.

Being a member of Affluent Hispanic Philanthropies enables me to be part of an amazing community of fellow professionals who also believe in the importance of giving back to the community, while providing us with a streamlined way of being able to do so, whether that be by participating in community events and/or special initiatives. As a fundraising professional and fellow entrepreneur, philanthropy is in everything we do. Whether it’s healthcare, higher education, human services or the arts, we are working everyday to make this world a better place for our children and generations to come. Without Philanthropy, we wouldn’t have hope in the world today.

As a Latina business owner, it's important for me to support philanthropic endeavors because it allows me to not only bring awareness to important issues but also be part of the solution which will have a positive impact on future generations.

As a public health researcher, entrepreneur, and social welfare professional, I am vocationally inclined to engage in philanthropic work. Being part of established and efficient organizations allows me to magnify my finite contributions and engage in larger causes to improve the wellbeing of human kind.

For several decades I have practiced philanthropy as a positive value for my life and social responsibility towards others. I have worked making contributions to the mission of the Pies Descalzos foundation created by my niece Shakira, where we help vulnerable children and youth in Colombia, providing quality public education.
